Travis Kelce Loves Watching ‘Gossip Girl’

Travis Kelce continues to surprise fans and Swifties everywhere—from making his acting debut in Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie to showing off his love of logos at the U.S. Open. On today’s episode of his podcast, “New Heights,” Kelce revealed that one of his favorite TV shows has a connection to his girlfriend, superstar singer Taylor Swift, and her famous girl gang. Kelce shared that he was a big Gossip Girl fan and that he used to keep that fun fact close to the chest.

“I used to not tell everybody that I watched Gossip Girl growing up,” Travis said, only to be met by disbelief from his brother, Jason, who responded, “You watched Gossip Girl?”

“It’s so good though,” Travis said. “Dude, if you watched it, you could get in deep.” When his brother confused Gossip Girl with Gilmore Girls, Travis was quick to clarify saying, “No, Gossip Girl” and rattling off members of the show’s beloved cast, saying, ”Chace Crawford, Blake Lively.”

Of course, Lively is one of Swift’s best friends—and she has a connection to Kelce. Lively and a slew of other famous faces have joined Swift in the VIP box at Kelce’s games, including the Super Bowl. Lively played Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl.

“I mean, it’s awesome,” Travis finished. “It’s like a New York high school show with a lot of drama and basically everybody gossiping and talking shit on each other, which leads me to my new favorite show out right now and it’s Traitors.”

As for Jason, he shared an equally surprising favorite: The Great British Baking Show. 

“Every time a new season comes out we sit down and watch that. I mean, it’s fantastic,” he said.
