Cariuma Launched the New, Comfy Toca Sneakers for Fall

My list of favorite things is an exclusive selection of items (I’ll share the entire rankings at a later time) that have to pass many tests to make it. Hey, what can I say, I’m picky! But time and again, Cariuma sneakers make it. So, imagine my excitement when I saw that the Brazilian footwear brand dropped a new, ultra-cool sneaker that’s bound to sell out—as most of its sneakers do. Cariuma continues to expand its shoe collection, and while oftentimes, this means new colorways in beloved styles, this time around, an entirely new silhouette has entered the chat—and I can’t contain my excitement because it perfectly rounds out the label’s offerings. The Toca, a retro-inspired kick with all the makings of this season’s next ‘It’ shoe, is the latest Cariuma style to make it on my wish list. It’s cool! It’s comfy! It’s Cariuma! A triple threat.

Cariuma Toca White Premium Leather and Suede/Smoke White Sneaker

The Toca features design elements from the brand’s beloved Oca Low sneaker, including the low-top silhouette, shape, Leather Working Group-certified leather, and slip-resistant sole. But what takes it up a notch is a T-toe suede design that mimics that of the beloved, always-sold-out Adidas Sambas. The simple but impactful addition gives the kick a retro flair that makes them so on-trend for fall 2024, which is why I’m sure they’ll sell out fast.

The shoe launched in two colors, though I’m certain more will drop as the season goes on. Right now, you can shop it in white with gray suede accents as well as white with taupe and dark khaki accents that has a contrasting gum sole to further up the cool-factor. Both styles go for $139—a steal considering Cariuma’s sneakers last for years (trust me, I wear mine to death).
