Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper are a couple many didn’t see coming. But ever since they sparked romance rumors after sharing a romantic dinner in October 2023, their relationship has proved to be nothing short of sweet.

The model and actor became an item following Cooper’s split from fellow model Irina Shayk, whom he dated for four years and shares a daughter, Lea De Seine, with. For Hadid’s part, she had just broken things off with Leonardo DiCaprio, who happens to be one of Cooper’s industry friends. Before that, Hadid was linked to One Direction frontman Zayn Malik, who she dated on-and-off for nearly five years and shares a daughter, Khai, with.

October 5, 2023: They spark romance rumors after going out to dinner.

Hadid and Cooper were spotted enjoying dinner at New York City’s Via Carota and leaving in the same car, per photos published by the Daily Mail.

October 8, 2023: They return from a weekend trip.

The couple was seen driving into New York City together, with Cooper behind the wheel, after reportedly enjoying a weekend getaway. The actor dropped Hadid off at her apartment. Days later, sources revealed to The Mirror, they were supposedly using Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island mansion for their escapes.

October 9, 2023: The couple is “having fun” hanging out.

A source told People in early October 2023 that Cooper and Hadid were enjoying each other’s company but weren’t putting a label on things yet.

“They are having fun. She’s independent, busy, and her days are filled with responsibilities so I don’t see anything serious happening right away if at all.” They revealed that Hadid had the hots for Cooper for a while, though, and wouldn’t be opposed to having something deeper than friendship.

“[They have] things in common so it’s possible to see it progress,” the source continued. “It appears super casual now, but they both have kids, big careers, busy lives and understand what life is like in these circles. It’s cute…and there is an attraction.”

November 1, 2023: They enjoy a Broadway play.

The pair had a romantic night out watching Off broadway play Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (starring Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott) at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in New York City’s West Village. Days before, they were spotted on a casual, rainy stroll.

November 4, 2023: Bradley Cooper tags along for girls’ night.

The Maestro star crashed Hadid’s star-studded dinner, which included the likes of Swift, Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, Cara Delevingne, and Brittany Mahomes.

November 16, 2023: Bradley Cooper quietly supports Gigi Hadid.

Cooper took a mid-day solo stroll through Manhattan repping a green, blue, and black striped sweater from Hadid’s brand Guest in Residence for a nice sartorial show of support.

December 6, 2023: Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk support Bradley Cooper at a NYC food truck.

Cooper partnered with Danny DiGiampietro of Angelo’s Pizzeria to open Danny & Coop’s, a Philly cheesesteak food truck in New York City. Hadid returned her man’s favor of support by stopping by to pick up food. Shayk also made a round to the truck, though separately from Hadid.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that Cooper, Shayk, Hadid, and Malik all have a cordial relationship. “Gigi, Bradley, Irina, and Zayn are all in a place where they want each person to be happy and healthy,” the insider said. “Zayn’s priority is to have a good co-parenting relationship with Gigi.”

December 22, 2023: Their relationship gets more “serious.”

A little more than two months into hanging out, a source told People things are “going really well” for the pair, and their relationships appears to be “getting more and more serious.”

“They were pretty low-key when they were in [Philadelphia] recently and had a date night in a private room at a local restaurant,” the source said.

They added: “They were quietly dating for much longer before it went public and were very hush-hush, trying to see if things would work between them. They had several months together privately.”

January 7, 2024: They enjoy a post-Golden Globes date.

Although Cooper and Hadid forewent their red carpet debut at the ceremony (he brought his mom as a date instead) they made sure to get some time together afterwards. They were spotted heading to Los Angeles’s famed Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi. The actor looked dapper in a classic, double-breasted tux, while Hadid coordinated in a sleek all-black ensemble.

January 25, 2024: They pack on the PDA.

The couple basically confirmed they were an item during a trip to London, where they were spotted sweetly holding hands whilst on a stroll.

February 6, 2024: They enjoy city life together.

The lovebirds were spotted walking the city streets and getting into a cab together. A couple weeks later, they were spotted enjoying a romantic breakfast date in Chinatown.

March 14, 2024: They share a big smooch at dinner.

Cooper and Hadid once again packed on the PDA, this time by kissing while out to dinner at Via Carota with Hadid’s friends and Queer Eye stars Tan France and Antoni Porowski. A source told People Cooper was “in good form and smiling” all night. The next weekend, they enjoyed some couple time at Cucina Alba, and then again attending a performance of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

April 24, 2024: They go on a couples’ vacation with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs tight end’s mom, Donna Kelce, shared during QVC’s Las Vegas Age of Possibility Summit that Kelce sent her a photo from his joint couples’ vacation with Cooper and Hadid in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.

May 12, 2024: They attend Taylor Swift’s concert with Travis Kelce.

The couple was captured singing and dancing along to Swift’s Eras Tour show in Paris alongside the singer’s beau, Kelce, in a private box.

May 26, 2024: They attend BottleRock Food and Music Festival.

On the heels of their groovy night in Paris, the couple broke out their dance moves again, this time during Stevie Nicks’s performance of “Dreams” at the BottleRock Food and Music Festival in Napa Valley. They were captured holding hands, embracing, singing, and dancing.

Cooper and DiGiampietro also hosted their food truck at the event. The couple shared a Philly Cheesesteak before the actor made a surprise appearance on stage to perform “Maybe It’s Time” with Pearl Jam, which Cooper recorded for his 2018 film A Star Is Born.

July 2, 2024: Their relationship has “grown more serious.”

Hadid and Cooper’s relationship appeared to be as solid as ever nine months into their coupling. A source told People in early July 2024 that the pair are in a “full-blown relationship” and the model is “very happy” with the actor.

The insider added that, initially, they weren’t certain it would last, but Cooper and Hadid have proven to be deeply devoted to one another despite their busy schedules with career and family obligations. In fact, family, specifically having children, has proved to be a bonding point for them.

“They are both busy but manage to spend time together and are enjoying each other,” the source said. “I wasn’t sure this was anything other than a casual fling when it started, but it has grown more serious.”
